Heather Adair is a pacific northwest artist who thinks it makes sense to engage as many senses as possible when appreciating anything beautiful; her mixed media paintings incorporate texture with color and she invites people to see AND touch her art.

The first time she visited the Seattle Art Museum (as an adult!) security personnel told her she made them very nervous - she got TOO close to the paintings.

Heather would love for you to get hands-on with her artwork. Maybe draw the line at licking the paintings. Maybe.
